Belle

February has begun with one unforgettable day; a day of miracles in which Belle received her new ear. To see a 5 year old girl (knowing full well what she was about to go through having gone through it before) so free of worry. Even after the surgery, although I am fully aware that she was still medicated, she was peaceful. And as she left the hospital she said "I had fun at the hospital." Seeming to have forgotten any pain that she had experienced. But what wondrous opportunity this has created for her. Receiving the gift of sound so that she can hear the glory of God and participate in its fullness.
